Scaffold down on the side elevation on our current project. Believe it or not the ‘before’ photo was what builders before us left the client after they were employed to repoint this elevation. Failure to correctly wash down after cutting had left this facade not pretty to look at, also it was falsely repointed in cement. On this project we had no choice but to chemical clean the facade back to its natural colour, prior to cutting. We then carried out a full repoint in a neat flush finish, using natural lime mortar. #brickcleaning #limemortar #limepointing #portsmouth #brickrestoration #brickrepairs #latestwork
